Welcome to the home of my ramblings.

This blog began as a way to keep in touch during a semester abroad in Karlstad, Sweden in 2015 (which can be  read about all over this blog especially here and here and here ).  In the years since, this blog has held writings from Queens University of Charlotte where I graduated in May of 2016, my year as a Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) serving in Scotland through the Presbyterian Church (USA).  My absolutely transformative YAV year can be read about   here, or here or here.

Following my YAV year, 3 years in seminary in Richmond, Virginia I’ve now become a minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A).

While this blog has witnessed a slew of messy growth and an ongoing process of becoming, there are a few consistent things: I’ll always be the  self-proclaimed people person with a love for the  Presbyterian Church (USA),  who loves to travel, gets lost easily, believes ice cream is a food group, who loves to learn, watches 13 Going on 30 on a bad day, who never says no to coffee or a movie  or a trip to the rink to relive her glory days as a competitive figure skater who relishes in kindness, conversation, church meetings and procrastination.

The night before I left for Sweden and this blog was born, a dear friend’s Mom called me and said:”your best memories will come from the moments you don’t know what you’re doing.”

Those words remain true six years later as I continue to grow.

Thanks for finding your way here. We’re all stumbling through the universe in attempts of finding our footing. It is so much better to stumble together.  Don’t forget to subscribe to the blog or to follow along via social media. Sending much light and love. -Isabella
